Nestled under the gum trees on the banks of the Derbal Yerrigan (Swan River), Peninsula Farm Cafe is a destination cafe with an ethos of sustainability and simplicity.<\/p>\n

The cafe is set in the grounds of the National Trusts\u2019 Peninsula Farm – one of Perth\u2019s earliest colonial residences – an area known as Wu-rut Woorat, that has been the land of the Wadjuk people for thousands of years.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/section>\n\n\n

Do you take bookings?<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t

Yes our cafe accepts bookings.
\nWhile we reserve some tables for walk-ins, we do recommend you book online. We have the capacity to accommodate larger groups of up to 18 guests via our website. You can conveniently book one month in advance via the dedicated bookings page on our website. To book for larger groups email enquiries@peninsulafarmcafe.com.au.<\/p>\n

In the event that our reservations are fully booked, rest assured that our cafe is situated right along the riverfront, with expansive lawns surrounding the cafe area. You are more than welcome to bring your own picnic blankets or chairs and relish our takeaway menu and delicious coffees. There is also a children’s play area for the little ones to enjoy.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

Should I book Inside, Outdoors or on the Verandah?<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t

When making a booking, you can choose to book Inside, Outdoors or on the Verandah.
\nPlease note that our Outdoor tables are shaded by umbrellas but are not fully undercover.
\nIf you would prefer an undercover option, we recommend booking Inside or on the Verandah. Once a booking is made for outdoor seating, we cannot guarantee an indoor table if the weather becomes unsuitable, as indoor space is limited.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

How can I cancel or amend my booking? <\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t

To amend or cancel your booking, please view your booking confirmation email and follow the link under ‘Amend or Cancel your Booking’. You will then receive an email confirming your changes or cancellation.
\nPlease note that you can only make changes to your booking up to 90 minutes prior to your booking time.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

Do you charge a booking cancellation fee? <\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t

At this stage, we do not charge a booking cancellation fee. However, in the event that you need to cancel your booking, we would appreciate as much notice as possible so that we may accommodate another group.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

What are your opening hours?<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t

We\u2019re open Tuesday to Sunday 8am until 3pm.
\nPlease note that the cafe is CLOSED on Mondays.
\nOur kitchen closes at 2pm, though we have an assortment of sweet and savoury treats available at the counter after 2pm.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

Is there free onsite parking?<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t

There free parking with no time restrictions in the immediate vicinity of our cafe, including at:<\/p>\n

Peninsula Farm carpark on Johnson Road (100m from our door).
\nBath Street Reserve carpark to the north of the cafe (a 400m walk along the riverfront).
\nTranby Reserve carpark 400m to our\u00a0south (to the immediate right of the\u00a0Maylands Boatyard).
\nClarkson Reserve carpark (next to Maylands Tennis Club) is a 900m riverfront walk.
\nThere is also free street parking along Hardey Road and Johnson Road. Please be mindful not to park on the\u00a0yellow lines as rangers regularly monitor\u00a0the area.\u00a0Parking is permitted on Wall Street, on the northern side only.<\/p>\n

Please note: The nearest car park is approximately 100m from our entrance. As the grounds are managed by the National Trust, vehicles are not permitted to drive any closer, so a short walk is required.<\/p>\n

Please use the carparks in the first instance prior to parking on the street along Hardey Road, Wall Street and Johnson Road, and be mindful of residential properties and access\/egress from private driveways.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

Is there disabled access to the cafe?<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t

Yes there is disabled parking in the Peninsula Farm carpark on Johnson Road, and the cafe has wheelchair friendly access and toilets.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

Do you have boat access?<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t

Yes, you can dock your boat at a nearby jetty located next to Tranby House, just 100m from the cafe. The jetty number is 1372.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

Can I bring a pram inside the cafe?<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t

Little ones are welcome at the cafe, but we ask that you kindly leave prams outside of the cafe and verandah area as space is limited, and so as not to block access to the toilets at the back of the cafe. We thank you for your understanding.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

Why do you not offer fried food such as bacon and fried eggs?<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t

Due to environmental concerns stemming from our location along the Swan River, our lease prohibits the installation of grease traps or extraction fans. This prevents us from frying any food in our kitchen.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

Is your food halal? <\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t

Unfortunately, our meat is not halal certified. However, we do have many vegetarian and vegan options on our menu.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

Yes we have a delicious Little Farmers menu for kids, which includes: Eggs your way on toast, Ham and cheese toastie, and Mini waffles, maple syrup & vanilla ice cream.<\/p>\n

We offer a variety of takeaway hampers which are available Wednesday to Sunday. These hampers can be ordered through our website’s shop page. You have the choice of three enticing options: our classic Peninsula Grazer, the Garden Grazer for those who prefer a fresh twist, or our Sweet Grazer for those with a sweet tooth.<\/p>\n

Our hampers are Take Away only. For picnics on grass please remember to bring a blanket.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

Can I bring a celebration cake to the cafe? <\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t

You are welcome to bring a celebration cake as long as it is in a sealed container box for storage in our cool room. We regret to inform that we cannot accept cakes on plates or cake stands to store in our cool room. There is a cakeage fee of $3 per person if you cut the cake yourselves, and a fee of $5 per person for chef to cut and serve the cake for your guests. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

Yes, we do have a phone, but please note that it isn\u2019t monitored during service hours. We do our best to return all calls once service has finished.
